I used #8 self-tapping metal screws to
mount the control boxes to the floor. The padding under the passenger
seat is substantially thicker than under the driver seat. I used
3/4" screws for the driver side and 1
1/4" screws for the passenger side. Before
drilling anything, I made sure that the boxes would fit beneath the
seats.
